“The more I see, the less I know.
The more I like to let it go.”
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
Our own life experience has a way of dictating the course we follow.

First hand experience has shown me how difficult the self-discovery process is, for both the emerging young adult as well as the parent/guardian. After a successful Human Resources Management career coaching and mentoring adults, I am now driven to work with, and assist young adults in their quest to find their life’s passion, purpose and direction.
I've always been drawn to the analogy of a bungee cord with regard to helping guide our own children. At the beginning, we as parents, are sitting by closely, monitoring and scrutinizing every move.We have a tight grip on that bungee cord, whose end is tied securely to us. As they grow older, we loosen our grip but don't completely let go.We allow more freedom and flexibility which increases their risk and oftentimes, our anxiety.Yet, that cord remains tied to us, albeit a bit more loosely.

When “adulthood” rears its head at the still tender age of 18, the young adults we have helped to raise are quick to want to untie that bungee cord altogether!
